Monty Python’s Spamalot is a comedic musical “lovingly ripped off from” the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975). It retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, featuring cows, killer rabbits, cheerleaders, and French people. The outrageous, uproarious, and gloriously entertaining story follows King Arthur and the Lady of the Lake as they search for the Holy Grail and “always look on the bright side of life.”
